Junior Golf Holiday Programme - April 2023

Carterton Golf Club will again be hosting an exciting holiday programme for kids who want to play golf. This time, we are going to spend most of our time playing golf each day (instead of doing drills), culminating in a formal competition with prizes on the last day. Our experienced coaches will be there to support kids and keep them safe. 

No problem if your kid is a beginner, we will put playing groups together based on experience and skill. On the last day of the holiday programme, junior members of the Club will contest the Boys and Girls Under 13 Cups, played over 9 holes. Non-members will have a separate competition. Prizes for all!! 

Golf clubs are not required, we will sort it all out! Kids must simply be dressed appropriately for outdoor sports. Parents / caregivers don’t need to stick around (but can do so if they want to), but must please pick kids up at 12:00 once the sessions end. Kids cannot be left to roam the golf course unattended.

When: Tuesday 18 April 2023 to Friday 21 April 2023. 

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel sessions due to poor weather, Covid etc – we will e-mail parents if required. 

Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 hours per day). 

Where: Carterton Golf Club, 117 Chester Road, Clareville, Carterton. 

Who: Primary school-aged boys and girls, no golfing experience required! 

Cost: Free for junior members of the Carterton Golf Club. $20 per child for all 4 days for non-members. 

What to bring: Trainers, cap / hat, sunblock, water and a snack (and golf clubs, if you have them)
